Liam Lawson has been one of the stand-out performers in F1 this season, securing 39 points across the opening 10 rounds of the campaign.

His strong form leaves Racing Bulls on equal terms with Alpine as the two teams fight for fifth place in the constructors' championship.

Yet, his long-term future in the Red Bull family appears under threat with the emergence of Nikola Tsolov in F2 this year.

The Bulgarian driver leads the standings in F1's most senior support series, with a 27-point buffer over Gabriele Mini in second position.

This has led to unfounded speculation that Tsolov partnering Arvid Lindblad at the Faenza-based team next year is a done deal.

In reality, Red Bull looks set to take its time on the decision, with Racing Bulls boss Alan Permane stating that a call on "next in line" Tsolov will be made later in the season.

With both drivers performing well, and Lindblad also impressing during his rookie campaign, the energy drinks-backed teams will have a tough choice to make. But what do F1 fans think at this stage?
