Isack Hadjar will be investigated following the Chinese Grand Prix sprint for failing to follow the race director's instructions.
Specifically, the Red Bull driver is alleged to have committed a practice start infringement at the Shanghai International Circuit.
It is not currently clear what the particular supposed infraction is, but the Frenchman was seen overtaking cars that were lining up for their practice start when leaving the pit lane on his way to the grid.
Meanwhile, Pierre Gasly will also face a post-sprint investigation after his Alpine left the pits in an unsafe condition.
The one-time grand prix winner radioed into Team Enstone to say "something flew out of my car," with a replay showing a red object coming out of the cockpit of his A526.
Hadjar starts the sprint from P10, whilst Gasly will line up P7 after an impressive sprint qualifying session.
