Isack Hadjar is set to drive for Red Bull alone in a Pirelli tyre test this week at Suzuka, following the Japanese Grand Prix.

Red Bull and sister outfit Racing Bulls will both be in action on Tuesday and Wednesday, with RacingNews365 understanding that Hadjar will be solely behind the wheel of the RB22.

The Frenchman was the top Red Bull-powered driver in qualifying ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix in eighth, but failed to score a point after falling to 12th.

Max Verstappen, as is often the case with Pirelli tyre tests, will not be driving for Red Bull, having flown home immediately after the Grand Prix.

Contrary to rumours, Red Bull reserve driver Yuki Tsunoda will not take part in the test for either the Milton Keynes-based team or Racing Bulls.

It is understood that Racing Bulls will most likely field its current driver pairing of Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad, the latter of whom knocked Verstappen out of qualifying.

Despite an impressive qualifying display, the British rookie also fell backwards in the race, finishing 14th, while Lawson worked his way through the pack to finish ninth from 14th.
