Red Bull extend partnership with TAG Heuer until 2024

The timekeeper has been a long-standing partner of Red Bull Racing - and that is set to continue for many years to come. The new deal will keep the luxury watch manufacturer in F1 until 2024.

Red Bull Racing and TAG Heuer have announced a partnership extension until 2024, with the Swiss watch manufacturer continuing as the Team’s Official Timekeeper. The conclusion of the new agreement comes on the eve of the 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, and will see TAG Heuer maintain its presence across the cars and suits of Red Bull Racing drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez - as the Team prepares to mount a title charge. "We are enormously proud to continue our longstanding and successful partnership with TAG Heuer, one of the most iconic names in the history of Grand Prix racing," Red Bull team principal Christian Horner stated in a recent press release. "Over the decades TAG Heuer has been associated with some of the true legends of our sport and we are delighted that Red Bull Racing continues to be part of that important heritage." The extension means that Tag Heuer will remain in F1 for three more years at the very least. The luxury brand has a unique heritage in the championship that stretches back half a century, although its latest partnership will Red Bull has only existed since 2016. While no world titles have been successfully captured during that time, the 2021 season provides Tag with the best opportunity yet to get the maximum return on their investment - as Red Bull appears to be in prime position to dethrone Mercedes. "TAG Heuer’s Don’t Crack Under Pressure spirit embodies the resilience and commitment required to get that timing right and we look forward to creating more race-winning moments with them in the coming years," Horner continued.
