Christian Horner was very clear about what Sergio Perez needed to do to keep his Red Bull seat for the 2024 season after his poor 2023. The team needed Perez to be closer to Max Verstappen and support him by finishing second, or at worst third, and be in position to collect a win should a mechanical issue strike.
