Adrian Newey is set to announce his departure from Red Bull Racing, it is understood. The Chief Technical Officer has told team management that he intends to leave at the end of this season, with his contract set to run out at the end of 2025. The most successful car designer in F1 history, Newey has been openly courted by Ferrari for a number of years, with Frederic Vasseur's team hoping to finally lure him to Maranello. Aston Martin has had made a big-money offer to Newey, but his immediate future remains unclear. Any move to a rival team would see Newey take up a lengthy period of gardening leave, perhaps even the entire 2025 season to ensure he cannot take up-to-date Red Bull technical information with him. So where do you think he will end up, if he does in fact leave the team he has been with since 2006?
