Qatar will stage a Grand Prix for the very first time this weekend, with the paddock arriving at the Losail International Circuit. Located just north of capital city Doha, and surrounded by desert, the track is well-known amongst MotoGP fans, with a mixture of challenging medium- and high-speed corners making up the 5.38km, 16-turn layout. F1 teams spent Thursday getting set up for the event, as mechanics prepared cars in the pit lane and drivers took part in their usual pre-weekend media duties, ahead of first practice on Friday morning.
