For a number of years, the so-called World Destructors' Championship has been tracked online.

It involves the extent of damage caused per Formula 1 driver, with Sergio Perez sitting atop the unfavourable list at the end of the 2024 season.

The Mexican succeeds Logan Sargeant from last year's list, compiled on Reddit, with a total of $4.8 million in crash damage.

Perez sustained the most damage in Monaco, where he was involved in a shocking crash with both Haas drivers. The damage receipt from that shunt totalled roughly $2.1 million.

Williams also lost incredible money through crashes. Alex Albon, Logan Sargeant and Franco Colapinto wrote off quite a few cars, bringing the total to about $11.1 million.

In Brazil, matters were at their lowest for the Grove-based squad as three significant crashes occurred during the weekend.

Pierre Gasly is at the unusual figure of $0, although that is not entirely accurate. The Frenchman suffered damage to his floor in Japan, where he collided with teammate Esteban Ocon. Gasly did, however, deliver an admirable season by largely staying out of trouble.
