Aston Martin has “categorically” denied speculation suggesting the Silverstone-based squad was using Max Verstappen as a ploy to court new investment. According to British tabloid The Daily Mail , Jefferson Stack, who has close ties to owner Lawrence Stroll, has been pitching to prospective investors that the Dutchman will leave Red Bull for the British marque. The outlandish report rumours the four-time F1 drivers’ champion’s contract at Aston Martin would be worth up to £1 Billion over the duration of the deal. However, Verstappen’s existing contract with Red Bull does not expire until the end of the 2028 F1 season and the 27-year-old has not indicated he is looking to leave the Milton Keynes team. In a comment provided by Aston Martin to RacingNews365 , a spokesperson categorically denied the claims whilst reiterating that Aston Martin and Lance Stroll will drive for the team in 2025 and 2026.
