Oscar Piastri and George Russell will be investigated after the second free practice session at the Dutch Grand Prix after a strange incident in the pit lane.
The pair were heading back to their garages after Alex Albon triggered a second red flag in FP2 at Zandvoort, when the McLaren driver, who was ahead, turned into his pit box.
However, he was signalled to go further, so swung back out into the fast lane, almost putting the Mercedes into the wall in the process. It is unclear as yet whether contact was made between them.
It was promptly noted by race control, with the stewards now deciding to take a closer look at the incident after the session.
Piastri finished FP1 second-fastest behind team-mate Lando Norris, whilst Russell could only go seventh quickest.
However, the pair were closer in FP2, ending the second hour of running in third and fourth, respectively.
