Oscar Piastri victorious after major Belgian GP rain delay

Oscar Piastri secured his sixth victory of the season at the Belgian Grand Prix, following an 80-minute delay due to poor weather. 

The race failed to start as planned after the formation lap was red-flagged due to shocking visibility, leading to a lengthy delay whilst inclement weather passed.

Max Verstappen reacts to Helmut Marko comments: 'He is not in the car!'

Max Verstappen has maintained his stance that a fifth consecutive F1 drivers' championship is unattainable this season, despite Helmut Marko's persistent hope.

The 82-year-old still believes the Dutchman has a chance to match Michael Schumacher's record of five titles on the bounce, which he set with Ferrari between 2000 and 2004.

Toto Wolff urged to end 'horrible moment' for 'generational talent' with immediate contract

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has been urged to immediately hand Kimi Antonelli a new contract to boost the teenager's ailing confidence following a miserable run of results.

Antonelli's rookie season has stalled since F1 started the European leg. The 18-year-old has suffered four retirements in five of the races, finishing 18th in the other.

Christian Horner reveals Belgian GP alternative after Red Bull sacking

For the first time in 406 grands prix, Christian Horner will not be on the Red Bull pit wall this weekend.

Horner did not miss a single race since Red Bull started racing in Formula 1 in 2005, following which he oversaw the capture of eight drivers' championships - four apiece for Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen - and six constructors' titles.

Max Verstappen questions Belgian GP delay: 'It didn’t make sense'

Max Verstappen believes race control was wrong to delay the start of the Belgian Grand Prix due to visibility concerns.

The FIA reported multiple drivers complained about poor visibility behind the safety car as the conditions were assessed early on.

Lewis Hamilton takes aim at Belgian GP 'overreaction'

Lewis Hamilton has disagreed with the race control's decision to delay the start of the Belgian Grand Prix.

The seven-time champion stated they were “overreacting” from the previous round at Silverstone where Kimi Antonelli and Isack Hadjar collided in low visibility conditions.
