Alpine's Esteban Ocon will miss the first day of action at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after being advised to rest by doctors.
The Frenchman has arrived in Abu Dhabi, but will not be present at the track for the usual media duties.
A team representative confirmed: "Esteban has been feeling unwell this week and has been advised to rest by his doctors.
"Although his condition has improved as of this morning, he will miss this afternoon’s media duties at the circuit. We expect him to be back at the track as soon as possible."
Ocon finished in fourth last time out in Las Vegas, his second best result of the season, following third in Monaco.
