Esteban Ocon was left rueing Alpine's missed opportunity to earn more points during the Dutch Grand Prix, following the late heavy rain which affected the race.
The Frenchman was running in sixth midway through the race before Alpine elected to stop him for new set of Softs early, despite the incoming rain.
When the heavy rain did hit the track they were the only team to switch to the full wet tyre, which Ocon could be heard disputing over team radio.
"I'm super disappointed that you know we were sixth from 16th [on the grid], a well fought race from start to finish," Ocon told F1 TV.
"We didn't box, we stay out on slicks and the tyres were not ready in the garage, and we were just not there to take the right choices which we had done so prior to that.
"We let slip eight points through our hands today and that is extremely disappointing."

Ocon: We should have eight points instead of one
Ocon could be seen in discussion with his engineer Josh Peckett during the red flag period, unhappy with their decision to pit for an extra set of slicks before the red flag when they could see the rain forecast.
"There was a lot of discussions, there everything that we needed, we had all the information and we knew when the rain was going to come," he explained.
"I just don't understand at the end what happened there to be honest, that's the reason why we just have one point today and and not eight."
