NASCAR has fined Ricky Stenhouse Jr $75,000 for his fight with Kyle Busch at the million-dollar All-Star race on Sunday.

Just about the time winner Joey Logano was celebrating, Stenhouse and Busch were involved in an altercation by their haulers after a Lap 2 incident where Busch had tipped Stenhouse's #47 into the wall and out of the race.

Furious, Stenhouse parked up in Busch's #8 pit-box and then waited for the two-time champion after the race, where after a discussion, punched Busch before a brawl broke out.

Members of the media were involved in the incident, as were team members from the #8 and #47 crews, with Stenhouse even threatening to wreck Busch at this weekend's Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte.

That received short-shrift from both Busch and his owner Richard Childress, with NASCAR now stepping in after the fight.

Stenhouse has received the $75k fine, along with members of his team receiving penalties.

His father Richard Stenhouse Sr has been banned indefinitely with mechanic Clint Myrick earning an eight-race suspension.

Engine tuner Keith Matthews will also be benched for four races - but there are no penalties to Busch or anyone on his team.
