Isack Hadjar, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll will all start the Singapore Grand Prix from the pit lane.
Red Bull driver Hadjar was due to start 22nd and last at the Marina Bay Street Circuit following a miserable Saturday in which he retired with a PU issue in the sprint race before failing to set a time in qualifying due to a gearbox problem.
As a consequence, the team has opted to change several PU components, notably the engine, turbocharger, power unit ancillary component, and exhaust set, under parc fermé conditions, leading to a pit-lane start.
Two-time F1 champion Alonso, meanwhile, who had qualified 16th, has had a new turbocharger fitted to his AMR26 and will join Hadjar in the pit lane, as will Stroll, who had been start from 18th, who has had suspension set-up changes made to his Aston Martin. The same applies to Alonso and Hadjar.
Aston Martin have also been cited by FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer for "not covering their cars two hours after the end of qualifying, respectively five hours before the scheduled start of the formation lap of the race".
