Mercedes is running a special tribute on its F1 car this weekend for a member of the team who recently passed away.

Mark Hudson worked for the Brackley-based squad for over 12 years and was part of the composite build team.

The tribute is located on the x of the car and contains the message 'In memory ofMark Hudson'.

It is also accompanied by a 'pre-fit OK' sticker, with Mercedes explaining it was part of his duties at the squad.

Mercedes detailed Mark was “the person to fit the last component to the new car before it was sent for its first shakedown or test each year”.

Mercedes enters the race weekend looking to continue its strong form from the previous round in Canada where it took first and third with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli respectively.
