Mercedes has revealed a special one-off livery for this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix, in recognition of title and technical partner Petronas.

The one-off livery for all the action at the Marina Bay Circuit, has been introduced specifically to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its title and technical partner.

“Our partnership with Petronas is our longest standing and still going strong, and for any company to reach its 50th anniversary is an incredible milestone," said Wolff.

“This livery is therefore not only a celebration of their 50th anniversary, but a reflection of Petronas’ importance in our team’s story and honours our journey together."

Mercedes has chosen to run the special livery this weekend in Singapore due to its closeness in distance to Petronas' base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The one-off design is not the only part of Mercedes' celebrations in recognition of Petronas, as Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Wolff will visit the Malaysian capital city next week.

Both drivers approve of the special Singapore GP livery, which will see Pertronas' iconic emerald green replace the majority of the silver on the sidepods and front wing of the W15.

“The livery looks incredible. I can’t wait to see it on the car in the garage and then to get behind-the-wheel on Friday,” said Hamilton.

“It’s a privilege to celebrate this milestone, and our journey together, at such an important race.”

Russell added: “The design looks brilliant and is a fantastic tribute to such a milestone achievement.

“It is great to be able to recognise the importance of our relationship at the race closest to their home.”
