Mercedes has released footage of Doriane Pin's ongoing F1 test at Silverstone, marking the Frenchwoman's debut in F1 machinery.
The Silver Arrows teased the test on Friday evening before confirming on Saturday morning that the reigning F1 Academy champion would make her debut.
Pin is driving the Brackley-based team's 2021 W12 in a TPC test (testing of previous cars), becoming the first female to drive a Mercedes F1 car.
She has been with Mercedes since 2024 and has been backed by the German manufacturer across her two seasons in F1 Academy.
Earlier this year, Pin became an official development driver for the team and has spent time in the simulator.
Following the progress made in the simulator, a TPC test is the next step in her development.
Mercedes captioned the footage it posted on social media: "The moment @DorianePin has always dreamed of ❤️ As she becomes the first female to ever drive a Mercedes F1 car."
