Mercedes has received a €100 fine from the FIA after George Russell was caught speeding in the pit lane.
The Briton was found to have exceeded the 60 km/h pit-lane speed limit by 0.3 km/h during first practice ahead of this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
Speeding in the pit lane is a breach of Article B1.6.3a of the FIA Formula 1 Sporting Regulations, resulting in a small but nonetheless unwanted fine for the Silver Arrows.
Russell ended first practice one second adrift of pacesetter Charles Leclerc, although he still finished near the top of the timesheets in fifth.
However, he was four tenths slower than team-mate and championship leader Kimi Antonelli, who was fourth quickest.
