You can tell we are getting closer to the start of a new F1 launch season as many teams are offering a glimpse on what their new car will look like via posts on social media.
Mercedes is the latest team to get in on the act, providing a short video clip on Instagram, and it is a significant moment for its 18-year-old rookie Kimi Antonelli.
The spotlight is on Antonelli as much is expected of the young Italian after he was confirmed as the replacement for seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton following his departure to Ferrari.
The clip appears to indicate this year's Mercedes will again be black, but for Antonelli, the adherence of his race number, 12, to the W16 will be a proud moment. His words, following his appointment at Mercedes, can be overheard in the background.
Following the official livery reveal, as part of the F1 75 Live event at London's O2 on February 18, Mercedes will officially unveil its car six days later on the 24th.
This will be followed by a shakedown the following day in Bahrain, where F1's pre-season three-day test is being held on February 26-28 ahead of the opening grand prix in Australia on March 16.
