George Russell has headed out on track at Silverstone to give the new Mercedes W17 its track debut after its unveiling.
Earlier on Thursday, Mercedes released digital renders of the new machine, and confirmed that it would hit the track for the first time later in the day.
Team leader Russell got the honour of the first shakedown at a wet and windy Silverstone, following on from Sergio Perez of Cadillac and Pierre Gasly of Alpine earlier in the month.
The only other two cars to be on-track so far are Nico Hulkenberg for Audi, whilst both Racing Bulls drivers Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad have tested their new car at Imola.
