McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has conceded the F1 fan in him was "excited" to see Lewis Hamilton join Ferrari.

However, the Italian has pledged the constructors' champions will attempt to make life a "little bit difficult" for the historic pairing when the new F1 season gets underway.

Ferrari announce Zhou F1 return to crucial role

Ferrari has confirmed a new reserve driver for the upcoming F1 season, signing Zhou Guanyu to the squad for the new campaign.

Zhou will share reserve duties with Antonio Giovinazzi, who has held the role for several years alongside his race seat for the Italian squad in the World Endurance Championship.

Hamilton handed three-race Ferrari 'probation' prediction

Martin Brundle believes Lewis Hamilton's 'probationary' period at Ferrari will last just three races before pressure increases.

Hamilton is currently undergoing private Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) running with his new Ferrari team ahead of pre-season testing in Bahrain between February 26-28.

Iconic brand to make long-awaited return to F1 podiums

F1 drivers on the podium this year will send corks flying out of the champagne bottles of a renowned name that makes its return to the sport.

Following the signing of a historic 10-year, €1 billion partnership agreement with LVMH in October last year, Moët & Chandon will again be sprayed by the top three drivers and a representative of the winning constructor after the majority of grands prix.

Horner reveals Verstappen Lawson similarity crucial to Red Bull cause

Christian Horner feels there is a striking similarity in the driving styles of Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson that will prove vital to the team's quest to recapture its F1 constructors' title this year.

Lawson makes the surprising step up to Red Bull this season even though he has only competed in 11 grands prix over two years with the junior outfit, AlphaTauri and then RB, initially deputising for an injured Daniel Ricciardo in 2023 before replacing the axed Australian last year.

Ferrari pays huge bonus to staff

Ferrari is to pay its five thousand employees a sizeable bonus this year after its end-of-2024 accounts exceeded targets.

The Italian marque's net revenues were up 11.8% year-on-year compared to 2023 at €6.67 billion, whilst net profit soared 21 percent to €1.5 billion.
