McLaren suffered a horrific final lap of the Singapore Sprint, as Lando Norris took out Oscar Piastri.
Piastri and Norris had been running in fourth and fifth for the entirety of the sprint at the Marina Bay Circuit from the end of the first lap onwards, following a crash for George Russell.
The sprint took place in wet conditions following a torrential downpour ahead of the 100 km race, which was delayed by 30 minutes due to the weather.
Both McLarens closed rapidly on Charles Leclerc in the closing laps, before Norris attempted an overtake on Piastri at Turn 5.
While there was space, the gap rapidly closed, with Norris hitting his team-mate who was unable to finish the race as a result.
Norris recovered from both McLarens spinning to finish in eighth, while Piastri had to walk back to the paddock.
The reigning world champion did apologise on the radio, saying: "Yeah, sorry about that. Obviously, I didn't want that to happen, but I thought I was fully alongside. I just ran out of space at the apex."
Norris is under investigation for causing a collision.
