McLaren has officially fired up its MCL38 car ahead of the upcoming Formula 1 season.

The Woking-based squad enters the new campaign with high hopes following a successful season last year.

Despite a slow start, McLaren successfully developed its car and recovered to podium-contending form midway through the year.

It scored nine podiums in 21 races, with seven going the way of Lando Norris. Rookie Oscar Piastri scored the other two and even bagged the sprint pole position and victory in Qatar.

McLaren is set to launch the MCL38 on February 14 ahead of pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit.

The squad has already unveiled its livery for the upcoming year.

Below, you can hear the car being fired up and McLaren continues to tease towards the launch of the car.
