McLaren CEO Zak Brown has welcomed two key recruits to Woking after they joined from the team's F1 rivals. Former Ferrari Head of Vehicle Concept David Sanchez has joined to become the new Technical Director of Car Concept and Performance for McLaren, whilst former Red Bull Chief Designer Rob Marshall has taken up the post of Technical Director of Engineering and Design. The duo are part of a new management structure at the team sculpted by Brown and Andrea Stella, who has impressed as Team Principal since taking over from now-Sauber CEO Andreas Seidl last winter. In an X [formerly Twitter] post, Brown said: "McLaren fans, join me in welcoming David Sanchez and Rob Marshall to our already experienced and talented Technical Leadership Team. "Mega! Let’s get to work!" McLaren will aim to improve on fourth in the Constructors' standings last season when the new campaign gets underway in March at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
