Max Verstappen will be investigated by the stewards after the Hungarian Grand Prix for potentially forcing another driver off the track and gaining an advantage.
The Red Bull driver lunged up the inside of Lewis Hamilton at Turn 4 on Lap 29 of the 70-lap race at the Hungaroring as the pair fought over P11.
Whilst there was no contact between the old rivals, the seven-time F1 drivers' champion was forced into evasive action, taking to the run-off area and losing considerable time.
The Dutchman has been one of the stand-out performers so far, making numerous overtakes at Turn 6, having started from a relatively lowly P8.
Nico Hulkenberg was the first driver to get a penalty in the race, having received one for a false start.
Verstappen and Hamilton visited the stewards at 17:15 local time. The 65-time grand prix winner questioned the call to investigate the incident after the race.
