Max Verstappen has responded to claims made by Sergio Perez over their controversial incidents in the 2022 F1 season.

On a podcast in Mexico, Perez explained that Verstappen "is like that, he holds things in until he finally lets them out, usually on the track," refering to the 2022 Sao Paulo GP when he ignored team orders to let Perez through for sixth place as he was battling for second place in the drivers' championship.

George Russell makes stunning Max Verstappen Mercedes contract claim

George Russell believes the delay in signing a new contract with Mercedes could be due to the team still chasing Max Verstappen's signature.

The Mercedes team leader is out of contract at the end of this season, with boss Toto Wolff signalling that it is a matter of 'when, not if, Russell agrees fresh terms to extend his stay with the Brackley team.

Lando Norris confirms talks with McLaren: 'A tough couple of days'

Lando Norris has detailed the "tough couple of days" he had with McLaren in the aftermath of his collision with Oscar Piastri in Canada.

On Lap 66 in Montreal, Norris clipped the rear of Piastri's sister car, taking himself out of the grand prix, and allowing the Australian to extend his lead in the drivers' by 12 points to 22.

Lewis Hamilton reveals Ferrari upgrade mystery: 'It's not normal'

Lewis Hamilton has explained a mystery surrounding Ferrari's Austrian Grand Prix upgrade package after detailing a "not normal" trait with it.

The Scuderia is bringing fresh parts to the Red Bull Ring as it looks to regain the second place it lost in the constructors' to Mercedes in Canada, with Hamilton also still searching for a maiden grand prix podium for the team.

Charles Leclerc has raised several major Formula 1 concerns surrounding next season's new power unit regulations, one issue he desribed as "just strange".

The Monegasque revealed ahead of this weekend's Austrian Grand Prix that he has been working in the Ferrari simulator on next year's new car, with the team steadily increasing its focus on 2026.

Carlos Sainz has admitted he is disappointed “as a motorsport fan” that his father ruled out a bid for the FIA presidency.

Having voiced interest in challenging Mohammed Ben Sulayem for the position earlier this year ahead of December's election, Sainz Sr recently announced he would not pursue the role.
