Marko: Hamilton deliberately ruined Verstappen's lap

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko wasn't happy with Lewis Hamilton's actions in FP3. The Briton hindered Max Verstappen during his fastest lap.

Max Verstappen wasn't happy with rival Lewis Hamilton during FP3, though it isn't the first time the two have got mixed up this season according to Helmut Marko. The Mercedes driver didn't make room for the approaching Dutchman, who lost time during his fast lap in the session. "Max had a good lap," Marko told Servus TV. "We lost two tenths in the first corner. If we improve on that we will be back on the same level. Mercedes caught up with us and we didn't have a flawless performance. "Hamilton deliberately killed Max's fastest lap. It's obviously annoying and it's not the first time. It's only the third practice, so it's not so tragic." Verstappen was heard voicing his displeasure on the radio. Listen to his comments in the video below.
