Former Formula 1 driver Damon Hill has been announced as a new member of the BBC's F1 radio coverage, following his exit from Sky Sports.
The 1996 world champion departed Sky Sports F1 at the conclusion of last season, and will join Jennie Gow, Rosanna Tennant, Harry Benjamin, Ben Edwards, Formula E driver Sam Bird, former W Series driver Alice Powell and former McLaren race engineer Marc Priestley.
In addition to Hill joining one of the world's biggest broadcasters, it was announced by the BBC that it had also secured exclusive F1 UK radio rights for the next three years.
BBC Radio 5 Live, 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds have all gained the exclusive rights, starting from this weekend's season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
It will provide live radio commentary of all 24 races, as well as qualifying and practice sessions.
