Follow the 2026 F1 United States Grand Prix live with RacingNews365, as Round 18 of the F1 season continues and Kimi Antonelli has his first F1 championship point.
The Mercedes driver claimed a sensational pole position in Austin on Saturday, setting a best lap of 1:34.035 to head the field, with nearest title contenders George Russell sixth, and Lewis Hamilton in fifth, respectively.
For Antonelli to win the title in Austin, he must win the grand prix, and hope Russell finishes ninth or lower, and Hamilton fifth or lower. This is the only combination of results that will see Antonelli crowned as F1's youngest champion today.
But can the likes of Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar from second and third throw a spanner into the Antonelli works?
