The third fastest lap time marked something of a surprise as Alpine's Pierre Gasly managed the best attempt behind the McLaren duo.
The Woking-based squad is gunning to continue its strong start to the season while its rivals are looking to stop its immense run of form.
The final practice session offers 60 minutes to dial the cars in ahead of qualifying later today and the all-important grand prix on Sunday.
