Max Verstappen has his first opportunity to become a four-time F1 world champion in the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
From fifth on the grid, he knows that if he finishes ahead of sixth-placed Lando Norris, he will join Juan Manuel Fangio, Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton as a quadruple F1 champion.
He currently enjoys a 62 point lead, with 60 remaining on the board after the second Las Vegas GP.
If he does secure it after 50 laps around Sin City, he will join Nelson Piquet and Keke Rosberg in the 1981 and 1982 Caesars Palace Grands Prix to win the F1 title in Las Vegas.
He would also win the title on a Saturday for the second time with the race taking place at 2200 local in Nevada - providing it finishes before midnight!
