It was Charles Leclerc who went comfortably fastest in Friday practice for the Australian Grand Prix.
He was nearly four-tenths faster than Max Verstappen in the qualifying simulations, but the Red Bull did lose time after a floor change.
Elsewhere Lewis Hamilton endured a tricky day after a set-up gamble backfired, leaving him only 18th in the times, with team-mate George Russell nestled nicely inside the top 10 in the sister Mercedes W15.
