Lewis Hamilton suffered a disastrous crash in the Dutch Grand Prix on the exit of the banked third corner.
As light rain started to fall, Hamilton's Ferrari snapped on him as he touched the paint at the top of the banking on lap 23, sending his left front into the barrier on the exit of the corner.
A safety car was immediately called for the seven-time world champion's SF-25 to be recovered, with it having sustained significant left front damage.
Hamilton had settled into the race well, behind George Russell in seventh and called for an early pit stop a lap prior to his crash.
The lap Hamilton called for an undercut, Charles Leclerc was pitted by Ferrari, before the 40-year-old crashed seconds later.
He immediately apologised to the Scuderia for the crash, which also cost Leclerc a position to Russell.
