Lewis Hamilton endured a horror show in sprint qualifying at the Belgian Grand Prix, following a shock early exit after a bizarre spin at Spa-Francorchamps. It was also a disaster for Mercedes, with Kimi Antonelli having joined Hamilton out in SQ1, whilst George Russell was eliminated in SQ2. At the front, Oscar Piastri set a stunner in Spa, as a new lap record saw him clinch sprint pole by almost five-tenths of a second from Max Verstappen.
