Leclerc, Verstappen and Hamilton all summoned to the stewards

Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton's teams are paying a trip to the stewards' office following the Austrian Grand Prix.

Charles Leclerc's victory at the Austrian Grand Prix is under threat after the stewards summoned him over a potential rule breach. Leclerc and fellow podium finishers Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton have been called up over an alleged breach of Article 12.2.1.i) of the International Sporting Code – more specifically parc ferme conditions. The article in question relates to a "failure to follow the instructions of the relevant officials for the safe and orderly conduct of the event".

What have the top three drivers done wrong?

No further details over the summons were shared by the stewards, though it may relate to when the drivers came into contact with their physios after the race. It remains to be seen if the drivers and their teams will be handed penalties - potentially impacting the results of the race - or simply given warnings. Representatives from Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes were asked to visit the stewards at 18:30 local time (17:30 BST).
