Charles Leclerc has hinted that wheels are already turning in Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz's quest to secure his F1 future following his stunning Australian Grand Prix performance.
Sainz is unemployed as yet for next season after the Scuderia announced the signing of Lewis Hamilton to partner Leclerc from Mercedes.
But having missed the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to have surgery following an appendicitis diagnosis, Sainz added to his Bahrain podium with a stunning drive to secure a third F1 victory at Albert Park on Sunday.

Since his maiden victory at the 2022 British Grand Prix, only Sainz and George Russell have stopped Red Bull from winning every other race.
Asked whether his teammate was undervalued, Leclerc told media including RacingNews365: "I think everybody knows Carlos' worth in the paddock.
"He's one of the highest-rated drivers in the paddock and he's been extremely strong every time he's in a Formula 1 car and he has showed it multiple times.
"So I don't think he's underrated for that."
With Sainz's future still unknown, Leclerc added: "I'm not too worried about his future, because I'm sure that many, many team principals are… He doesn't say it, but for sure they are speaking with him.
"I'm sure he will have many opportunities and he'll just have to make the best choice for his career."
