Leclerc and Stroll both slapped with Qatar Sprint penalties

The sanction drops the Ferrari driver out of the points after his seventh-place finish.

Both Charles Leclerc and Lance Stroll have been hit with five-second time penalties in the Qatar Grand Prix Sprint for exceeding track limits.

Leclerc was pinged four times to Stroll's five around Lusail, with the duo subsequently handed five seconds to their race times.

For Leclerc, he drops from seventh and two points down to 13th place, while Stroll's Aston Martin falls to 15th and last from 13th.

The beneficiaries are Alexander Albon who now picks up two points for seventh and Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso who will now be classified in eighth place.
