Lando Norris has been handed a crushing verdict by Formula 1 fans, the majority of which do not believe he is an F1 world champion-calibre driver.
The Briton finds himself in a title fight this season with McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri, who has a 22-point advantage over Norris.
However, Norris has often been quicker than Piastri. What has cost the 25-year-old this season is an array of mistakes, as recently as the Canadian Grand Prix.
Norris crashed into Piastri in the closing laps at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, resulting in McLaren's first intra-team collision in several years.
Many pundits and former drivers have highlighted Norris' mental weakness and self-critical nature as two factors which are stopping him from becoming a world champion.
In a recent RacingNews365 poll, a staggering 44.3% of voters do not view Norris as an F1 champion-calibre driver, whilst only 25.4% do.
To add to Norris' woes, just 7.3% believe that whilst Norris become an F1 champion-calibre driver in the future.
