Lance Stroll has been called to see the F1 stewards at the Circuit of the Americas following a late-race collision with Esteban Ocon.
The pair were battling for 12th place into Turn 1 before Stroll locked up as he went for a dive-bomb move.
Stroll speared into the rear of Ocon, inflicting major damage on both cars, ensuring their elimination from the race.
The pair will see the stewards before qualifying later today to give an account of the crash.
It did not mark the only clash at Turn 1 during the sprint race in Austin.
On the opening lap, Hulkenberg made contact with championship leader Oscar Piastri, which pitched the McLaren driver into his team-mate Lando Norris.
