Jenson Button has firmly dismissed suggestions he is being lined up to replace Martin Brundle in Sky Sports F1's commentary box.

The 2009 world champion took to social media to refute recent speculation linking him with a more prominent role at the broadcaster, insisting Brundle remains the key figure in the team.

FIA ban clever Mercedes and Red Bull F1 engine trick - report

The FIA has banned a clever qualifying trick employed by Mercedes and Red Bull that allowed their cars to gain significant speed advantages at the end of qualifying laps.

The quirk was used as part of a finding amid the regulation overhaul this year, which saw the introduction of brand new power units.

Max Verstappen invited for new career adventure

Jos Verstappen has issued a challenge to his son Max, inviting the four-time world champion to experience rallying first-hand after the Red Bull driver repeatedly described the discipline as dangerous.

The former F1 driver, who has competed in the European Rally Championship since 2025, responded to his son's safety concerns with a pointed reference to Max's own motorsport activities outside Formula 1.

Max Verstappen expected to quit F1 following shock Red Bull departure

Former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer believes the exit of Gianpiero Lambiase has all but guaranteed that Max Verstappen will leave Red Bull at the end of the current season.

It was announced last week that Lambiase will leave the Milton Keynes-based outfit when his contract concludes at the end of 2027, completing a shock move to McLaren.

Red Bull hailed for critical decision despite current F1 slump

Former IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe has praised Red Bull for its decision to pursue performance at the end of 2025, despite its slow start to the new year.

Red Bull opted to continue the investment in its car last year as it closed down the gap to leaders McLaren.
