Italian GP weather update: What's in store at Monza?

Will bright sunshine continue to be the order of the day in Italy?

After rain played havoc last weekend in the Netherlands, there are no such surprises in store for today's Italian Grand Prix at Monza, which will be run in warm and sunny conditions. According to our friends at Weeronline.nl , there will be only limited cloud cover over the Monza circuit, with temperatures set to reach 29 degrees Celsius by the time the race starts at 15:00 local time. In such conditions, track temperatures are expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius, representing a significant difference from the conditions seen at Zandvoort last weekend. With hot weather and sunshine very much the order of the day, spectators are reminded to drink plenty of liquid and apply sunscreen or cover up bare skin in order to avoid heatstroke.
