Is Norris favourite for maiden F1 title?

Lando Norris finished second in the standings last season, but has been backed as the favourite for the 2025 drivers' title.

Lando Norris has been pinpointed as the favourite to claim a maiden drivers' F1 title this year by racing legend Tom Kristensen.  The nine-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner spoke highly of the McLaren star on the RacingNews365 podcast , describing him as the favourite going into the new season.  Norris fell short of winning the championship last year, with Max Verstappen clinching a fourth consecutive crown.  However, the 25-year-old won the season finale and has momentum going into the new campaign, as does McLaren following its constructors' title glory.  At the same time, it is unknown how competitive Red Bull will be after running into difficulties with the RB20 in 2024. McLaren is expected to be very strong in 2025, although it remains to be seen if Norris can defeat Verstappen and others to become world champion. Do you agree with Kristensen? Is Norris the favourite to claim his maiden F1 title this year? Have your say by voting in the poll below!
