Following a period of speculation over the future of Alpine, Franco Colapinto looks set to remain at the team next year.
RacingNews365 revealed earlier this week that Colapinto will continue alongside Pierre Gasly in 2026 when Alpine hope to use the major regulation change to take a step up the pecking order.
Colapinto began the current F1 season on the sidelines but was called up to replace Jack Doohan after the Miami Grand Prix.
Earlier this year, Flavio Briatore detailed that the choice for the second seat for 2026 would be between Colapinto and reserve driver Paul Aron.
However, it is also a possibility that either Yuki Tsunoda or Liam Lawson could come onto the market if Isack Hadjar and Arvid Lindblad receive promotions to Red Bull and Racing Bulls, respectively.
Do you believe any of these options are the right choice for Alpine, or is it making the right decision by sticking with Colapinto?
