Lando Norris secured pole position for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, as Oscar Piastri completed a front row lock-out for McLaren.
Max Verstappen delivered a surprise for Red Bull by qualifying in third, and was McLaren's only genuine threat at Albert Park on Saturday.
George Russell secured fourth on the grid, ahead of the hugely impressive Yuki Tsunoda and Alex Albon who dazzled for Racing Bulls and Williams, respectively.
Ferrari disappointed in seventh and eighth, whilst Kimi Antonelli and Liam Lawson suffered shock Q1 exits at a scorching hot Melbourne before the rain descends for race day.
