Nico Hulkenberg has a new job in the F1 paddock. Not content with his role as reserve driver for Aston Martin and, potentially soon, Mercedes, the German driver has also taken up a role as a TV pundit with Austrian broadcaster Servus TV. In his first outing as a broadcaster, Hulkenberg joked that his main goal was to talk badly about his former colleagues in an attempt to free up a seat on the F1 grid- but turned more serious when he focussed his attention on the prospects of Haas rookie Mick Schumacher. Schumacher will make his F1 debut this year with the American team, and while the attention will be intense, Hulkenberg reckons he won’t have a smooth road ahead of him. "Mick will of course get a lot of attention, especially in Germany. It won't be easy for him because the expectations are high, but his team is not doing so well in terms of performance," Hulkenberg said. "It won't be an easy path, like all rookies he will make mistakes that he will have to admit up to. It will probably not be so easy at the Haas at the beginning."
