Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has spoken out after an appeal lodged into the verdict of inappropriate behaviour allegations by a colleague was dismissed.
Horner was placed under investigation earlier this year after a female member of staff made complaints against the Briton.
Horner was questioned by an independent investigator who cleared the 50-year-old of wrongdoing, with the situation overshadowing Red Bull's strong start to the season.
The matter also boiled over in the form of an intra-team power struggle with Jos Verstappen, father of Max, publicly criticising the Red Bull team principal.
Following the initial verdict, an appeal was launched by the accuser, which ultimately was dismissed.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Horner admitted relief over the situation being behind him.
“Obviously it has been a hugely thorough process,” he said. “I was relieved with the appeal concluding, and dismissing the claim.
“Now it is very much - as it has been all season - focus on the track, here at Max’s home race, and looking forward to the next 10 races.”
Horner was then asked if he regretted the situation being made so public, to which he replied: “It is a private matter.
“I am just relieved that the process [of] the company has now been concluded. Our focus is very much on track.”
