F1 fans believe Haas will step up to lead the grand prix midfield in 2026 following a strong show in pre-season testing.
Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman combined for 1,174 laps across Barcelona and the two Bahrain tests, the second most of any team behind Mercedes on 1,204 and ahead of power unit supplier Ferrari, on 1,167.
The VF-26 machine looked tidy and fast, with Ocon and Bearman also enjoying the rocket starts from the Ferrari power unit, which Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc displayed.
Haas finished eighth in the 2025 season, but for the first year of the new rules, just under 37% of fans, when asked in a RacingNews365 poll, believe the team will climb up to fifth in the coming season.
It is important to point out that whilst Haas received the greatest number of votes, it did not receive an outright majority of more than 50%.
