Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner has said there is no other driver like Max Verstappen currently competing in F1. Driving a RB19 that is the class of the field, the Dutchman is dominating having won the last eight Grands Prix and two Sprint events. The hot streak of form has seen Verstappen race into a 125-point advantage over teammate Sergio Perez in the Drivers' championship - a margin that leaves him almost certain to secure a third-successive title. Horner cited Verstappen's failure to secure pole position at the recent Hungarian Grand Prix as evidence of the Dutchman's desire and will to win, noting that Verstappen was even more determined to win the Budapest race after having been bested in Qualifying.
Horner - Max is unique!
"Max is unique. I don't think there's a driver in Formula 1 like Max," Horner told media, including RacingNews365.com . "I think that what he's achieving at the moment, he's a sportsman that's at the top of his game, he’s very modest. "He's just a very focused young man that is hugely driven, hugely determined, and he just has this hunger and desire to compete and to win.” "[In Hungary], for example, it hurt him not getting that pole position, and I think he went [into the race] even more motivated."
