Carlos Sainz has put pen to paper at Williams and will join the Grove-based squad on a multi-year deal next season.
The Spaniard has spent several months mulling over his future after his Ferrari exit was confirmed at the start of the year.
Sainz will join Alex Albon at Williams, who has spent the last handful of years competing towards the back of the field.
Team principal James Vowles was brought in last year to help resurge it up the pecking order in the coming seasons.
With Sainz also having interest sent his way from the Alpine and Audi F1 projects, has the 29-year-old made the right call over his future?
